Jakarta, 30 September 2021 – The basic problem of logistics in Indonesia is mainly related to high costs and duration of delivery as most logistics/forwarding companies only use a combination of sea and land logistics solutions. The trade-off would be high fees for faster shipping, otherwise.
The condition of Indonesia as an archipelagic country requires high mobility and accessibility of transportation modes for the logistics process. This is both a challenge and an opportunity for future logistics solutions. This opportunity underlies PT Global Sukses Solusi Tbk (RUNS) and PT Aviasi Jaya Indonesia to collaborate.
The signing of the cooperation agreement was carried out on Monday (27/9) in Jakarta by Sony Rachmadi Purnomo as President Director of PT Global Sukses Solusi Tbk and Giovanni Henggar Setyantoro as Director of PT Aviasi Jaya Indonesia. The moment was also attended by management representatives of both parties, Febri Diansyah (Commissioner, PT Global Sukses Solusi Tbk), Nizar (Director, PT Global Sukses Solusi Tbk) and Sofyan Danu Siswantoro (Commissioner, PT Aviasi Jaya Indonesia) and Nadeem Abdur Rasheed (CTO, PT Aviasi Jaya Indonesia).
PT Aviasi Jaya Indonesia is a company engaged in information technology systems for the provision of air cargo marketplace services with the AVTER trademark.
In a press release, Sony said that this collaboration will be able to increase the features and services that RUN System users get through system integration, especially in the logistics and distribution module with the cargo and logistics ecosystem owned by Avter and Mileapp. This will expand the RUN System ecosystem through collaboration.
On the other hand, Giovanni said that from this collaboration his party hopes to bridge shipping services by port of port as part of the logistics ecosystem that will be built with the RUN System. “We are developing a booking system for cargo services, both commercial and cargo planes.” said Giovanni.
Previously, in order to aim at optimizing the logistics sector, in June 2021, RUNS also collaborated with MileApp, a platform that prioritizes technology in navigation and adaptive workforce management. Not only in Indonesia, MileApp also has users in Australia.
By combining the advantages of each party, this collaboration is expected to provide convenience and optimization of the logistics process of goods from delivery to goods received.
