Yogyakarta, August 2024 – RUN System, as one of the key players in the technology sector, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the business ecosystem in Indonesia. This was demonstrated by its participation as one of the speakers in the Ecosystem Dialogue agenda. Organized by Telkom Indigo, the event was themed “๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐๐ต”. They brought together various stakeholders to discuss technology integration strategies to drive creative business growth.
Alwin Zulfikar, Head of Product RUN System, shared RUN System’s journey from Telkom Indigo Incubator to IPO and becoming the third Google Cloud Partner in Indonesia. With a number of innovative products including RAIN, its latest Generative AI solution. Indigo Incubator is a program that plays an important role in the early development of technology startups in Indonesia. RUN System, has grown to become one of the key players in Indonesia’s enterprise software industry.
In the next session, Alwin talked about how digitalization can help creative industries in Indonesia, to be more marketable and competitive. He said that local governments can play a big part in this, especially by organizing technology workshops for MSMEs. This helps MSME players to adapt to technological changes and to connect them with digital solution providers.
Collaboration and Synergy are Key
Alwin also said that collaboration and synergy are key to business growth. He said that it’s important to work with others because good collaboration can lead to new opportunities and help with innovation. He also talked about how market research is important for product development, as well as using the right momentum for brand marketing and product sales.
Another speaker at the event, Bisma Jatmika, Director of Tourism Industry & Tourism Institutions, also shared his thoughts. Bisma also talked about the government’s role in supporting SMEs, especially in the creative economy sector. He gave the example of digitizing batik designs, which makes it easier for artists in the production process. “The government helps SME activists a lot. For example, batik craftsmen must first draw a pattern and then trace it onto the cloth, so we help to digitize the batik design to make it easier for batik artists,” Bisma explained.
Sandiaga Uno, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, said that Indonesia’s creative economy added Rp1.4 trillion to the GDP. That puts Indonesia in the top three countries in the world for creative economy contribution to GDP. This is a great chance for digital solution providers to come up with new products and support the creative industry’s recovery.
RUN System didn’t just take part in the discussionโthey also brought some energy to the event by setting up a booth. The RUN System booth was the place to be, especially when Colonel (CAJ) Sandy, Head of the Award Section, GTK Bureau, stopped by. Riza Rukmana, Vice President of Digital Business Strategy and Governance at Telkom Indonesia, was there too. Their presence showed that they’re behind RUN System’s mission to bring digitalization to different business sectors.
Ecosystem Dialogue by Telkom Indigo is a great place to exchange ideas. It’s also a forum to strengthen collaboration between creative and digital industry players in Indonesia.
